The
Lake View Room in the Main House now has satellite (broadcast)
TV plus DVR, and a DVD/VCR player. The remainder of the Main
House guest rooms (North Terrace, Creekside Hideaway and
Orchard Room) have DVD/VCR only, as indicated above. We have a collection of
movies, and please feel free to bring your favorite movies
from home to watch in your room. Additionally, all Inn guests are
welcome to relax in our Great Room and enjoy the 9' x 5' image HD Projection
TV, which has full satellite channels and DVD/VCR. Come be the next guests to marvel and say "Wow,
we've gotta get us one of these."

The Lake House
is located just across the garden from the Main House and
has a deck running along our little lake for Lake House
guests.

Lake
House room rates include unlimited use of its guest
kitchen and dining area.

Lake House
rooms are individually climate controlled, including
heat, air conditioning, and one-touch gas fireplaces.
The Main House central A/C and heat are controlled
centrally; in-room gas fireplaces are controlled by the guests staying
in the room.

Generally
a two-night minimum stay is required, but we do consider single-night bookings
beginning one week in advance as our schedule permits. Single-night bookings must be made by phone. TAXES:
North Carolina
state and county sales taxes (6.75%), and McDowell County room
tax (5.0%) currently total 11.75%.

ON REQUEST: We have a variety
of items available
for guest use on request outside of our standard amenities, such as a Pack-n-Play, portable shower seat,
ironing board/iron, large pet crate, outdoor gas grill and wine glasses. We also have a wide variety of board games and movies.
If there is something else you'd like to see available for guest
use, just let us know.
MOVIE
AND BOOK LIBRARY: Brigette
has expanded the Video and DVD collection
(hooray for eBay). We have more than a hundred popular and
classic titles now. These can be enjoyed in the privacy of your
room, or on our projection TV (9' x 5', HD -- awesome!) in the Great Room. Brigette has been
working to expand our nice library/book collection as well.

Frequently
chosen for romantic getaways, our
largest room (600 sq. feet), located on the top floor
of the Main House, has full-length windows gracing the
entire south wall for expansive outdoor views of the
forest, our peaceful lake, and the waterfall that spills
over the dam. The
Lake View room features
a 14' peak rough-hewn cedar ceiling, a king bed,
one-touch gas fireplace and large cedar closet. The room
has satellite TV with DVR, as well as a DVD/VCR player.

time and we'll try to arrange it.] Additionally,
the Lake View room
has a
private screened porch, perfect for taking in the forest
sights and sounds in the early morning or evening. The large bathroom has a double

with couples and is also one of our two family friendly
accommodations. The
Maple Tree room has a queen bed plus a sleeping loft with

14' ceiling, a one-touch
gas fireplace, satellite TV with VCR, and a double-vanity bathroom with a two-person
size Jacuzzi tub and separate shower with a custom teak
mat.
Additionally,
the Maple Tree room has access to a full
kitchen for guests staying in the Lake House, and its own
sliding door to the deck that overlooks the Inn's
little mountain lake and the calming scenery of Pisgah

enclosed room with a huge step-up jetted hot tub for unwinding after the
day's adventures.
The North Terrace
room is
pet friendly;
it has a private entrance and shares no common walls with any
other guest rooms. It also has a queen-sized futon couch which can
be arranged for an additional guest.

on the top floor of the Main House is perfect for couples, moms
and daughters or single friends traveling together. It has a
queen bed and pull out queen-size sleeper sofa. Additionally,
there is a DVD/VCR. Windows on three sides of the bedroom
allow for great views of the woods surrounding the Inn. We
encourage guests to open the windows to hear the sounds of the
creek below in the mornings.
The Creekside
Hideaway room's gorgeous cedar
bathroom with skylight provides a wonderful touch to the room
and features a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and double
sinks.

budget-minded guests. The views of the orchard are eye-catching in
the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons.

Comfy but by no means
cramped (276 sq. ft.), the Orchard Room is pet
friendly; the room is accessible through the
house and also via an exterior entrance down a flight of
stairs near the Solarium and it shares no
common walls with any other guest rooms.
